Swords.com, the internet’s premier network for sword enthusiasts, fantasy buffs, and folks with related interests, has announced the addition of a new swords forum to further improve their Swords Network, the web’s most unique network of sword enthusiasts.
The new swords forum features the following categories:
- Swords: This is where swords enthusiasts can discuss everything from getting beginner’s advice on sword buying to sharing photographs of their latest antique sword purchase.
- Knives and Other Weapons: Many sword enthusiasts enjoy other bladed and non-bladed weaponry, such as knives, battle-axes, and bows. Swords Network members can use this category to share their knowledge on these topics.
- Martial Arts and Applies Practices: From beginner to expert, share your knowledge or ask questions about any martial arts related discipline. This category includes popular eastern martial arts like taekwondo, to non-eastern practices such as Brazilian Capoeira. Fencing aficionados should also post here.
- Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Pop Culture: Here members can discuss successes and failures in fantasy and science fiction films, or cover topics ranging from fantasy novels, fantasy illustration/art, comic books/manga or anime.
- Historical Discussions: For those who are passionate about history - from the origins of swords to historical figures and medieval history, and everything in between.
- Reenactment, Recreation and Theatrical: Discuss local medieval/renaissance faires here, or engage other fellow enthusiasts in topics about stage combat, LARP, or historical reenactments.
- Gaming: There are millions of gamers out there playing WoW, LOTR online, and various other MMORPG’s. Discuss strategy or talk about feats and cheats here! Prefer consoles, or board games? Members can discuss their D&D guild, Magic card collection, or discuss strategy.
The new swords forum is integrated with a member’s profile, so all topics are accessible from a dashboard. Individual topics can also be bookmarked, making it easy for a member to get one-click access to their favorite topics. Also new in the swords forum is a feature that feeds all new entries to a “recent activities” page, eliminating the need to search for updated topics.
Be sure to stop by and check out all the new features that Swords.com has to offer in their new and updated Swords Network.
